Greetings, Fellow Toastmasters!
What began several years ago as a directive from Toastmasters International to merge districts—followed by months of uncertainty, planning, and collaboration—has led us to this moment. Today, we officially begin our journey together as District 207, united in purpose and committed to strengthening the Toastmasters experience for every member.
On behalf of the District Leadership Team, it is our honor to serve you through this transition. Change can feel unfamiliar, but please know: your clubs and your members remain at the center of every decision we make. Our mission is to ensure you have the support, resources, and guidance needed to build strong, thriving clubs.
District Priorities for 2026–2027
1. Unity Across Our New District
District 207 spans portions of seven states, offering new opportunities to connect through Club Officer Trainings, District-led initiatives, and committee participation. We encourage you to engage, meet new Toastmasters, share ideas, and grow together. Unity is built through involvement.
2. Member Growth and Retention
Our District has faced membership challenges in recent years. Some clubs excel at attracting guests, while others need additional support. Retaining members is equally essential to building strong, sustainable clubs.
We will support clubs through:
- Incentives that encourage engagement
- Training to strengthen leadership and club quality
- Marketing tools to expand outreach
- Community engagement to share the Toastmasters message
Strong clubs create strong members—and strong members create a strong District.
3. Member Engagement
District success depends on member participation. If you are interested in serving as an Area Director, joining a committee, or volunteering in other ways, please complete the D207 Volunteer Form and share your talents with the District.
Club Officer Action Items
As we begin the Toastmasters year, Club Officers—new and returning—have key responsibilities. Every Club Officer is expected to be trained twice per year to ensure effective leadership and a high-quality club experience.
New Club Officer Training
Toastmasters International has released a modernized Club Officer Training program. If you did not attend the June sessions offered by Districts 7 or 15, please join the first District 207 Club Officer Training:

Distinguished Club Program & Club Success Plans
We encourage every club in District 207 to strive for Distinguished status. The foundation of a Distinguished Club is a clear plan.
The Club Success Plan, available through Club Central, outlines how your club will achieve its goals. Every club must submit a Club Success Plan by September 30. Clubs that do not submit a plan by this date cannot become Distinguished this year, regardless of the goals achieved.
Club Focus: Growing Stronger Together
Growth is one of the most powerful steps your club can take this year. A larger club brings more energy, diverse perspectives, and resilience. More importantly, every new member represents someone seeking confidence, community, or a new chapter—and your club welcomed them.
Our leadership focus is simple: to help every club in District 207 thrive by providing the resources needed to attract and retain members.
Look around your workplace, neighborhood, and network. Who in your life would benefit from what Toastmasters has given you? Invite them. One conversation can change someone’s life.
